Foundry coating provides thermal insulation and temperature balance. It protects molds by resisting the impact and corrosion of molten metal, extending mold service life by more than one-third.
It prevents castings from cracking and the formation of white cast iron caused by local rapid cooling.
It has an adhesion period of up to 7 days and good air permeability. Acetylene smoke treatment can replace mold release agent for each demolding process—one smoke treatment per casting is sufficient before pouring.
Environmentally friendly dry-powder foundry coating is relatively low-cost. It significantly reduces the high production costs associated with alcohol-based coatings or imported coatings, while greatly improving production efficiency.
